This policy explains what information Skooltag (operated by Garunaa Enterprises Private Limited) collects when you order school uniforms through our WhatsApp bot and web shop, and how it's used.
The first time you message our WhatsApp bot, we'll show you a short notice covering what's below and ask you to agree before we collect anything about your order. You only need to do this once — we won't ask again unless this policy changes in a way that matters. You can withdraw your consent at any time by messaging "withdraw consent" (or "delete my data") to the bot — this deletes your current session and consent record immediately; past completed orders are kept as described under "How long we keep it" below.
Details like class, gender, and school are provided by you, the parent or guardian, solely to identify the correct uniform items — never collected directly from a child, and never used for any purpose beyond fulfilling your order.
Order records are kept for as long as needed for delivery, support, and legal/accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by contacting us below, subject to what we're required to retain for order/tax records.
You can ask what data we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion at any time.
If your school participates in our revenue-share programme, your school's account holder provides a login email, and bank details for commission payouts, directly to the School Portal — never to us by any other means. If you're one of our shop's own staff, we hold your name, phone number, and role to give you access to the Staff Portal. Both are used solely to operate the relevant portal and are never shared beyond what's needed to run it.
